Product Lines

Oil Control was founded in 1973 in Italy with the aim of supplying motion control valves to an emerging mobile machinery market which was then importing products almost exclusively from the USA.
The technical recognition earned by the R&D department, combined with a dynamic commercial strategy made the company a leader in domestic markets and put positioned it to concentrate on developing foreign markets, initially around Europe. The same group people, in the following years, created a number of other companies, dedicated to the design and manufacturing of other compact hydraulics components: Edi System, Tarp and Oil Sistem were thus created. Built on close technological partnership with some of the world foremost construction and agricultural OEM’s, these companies grew in product breadth and manufacturing capability, until, in 1998, they formed the Oil Control Group which, two years later, acquired Oleodinamica LC.

In service to an expanding global market place, investment in satellite facilities around the planet pushed the ready availability of product and support further abroad. At the same time, the Group’s technical expertise was widened, moving beyond the traditional counterbalance valves for cranes and aerial platforms, into valve solutions capable of addressing the full depth of the mobile hydraulics market.

In April 2005 the Oil Control Group changed its name in Bosch Rexroth Oil Control S.p.A. and entered a new and exciting part of its history by becoming part of Rexroth AG.

Catalog News: Product Catalog, Mobile Hydraulics: Part 3-4.
interactive version and highlights

We're proud to present you the interactive version of the cartridge valves new catalog, also known as 'Product Catalog, Mobile Hydraulics: Part 3'. This catalog focuses on technical information regarding mechanical, solenoid and proportional cartridge valves divided in 1500 Datasheets, with 74 new additions and the internal search engine that will make your search for products easier and faster. If you want access the new catalog, you can either click here, on the banner or following the 'Products and Solutions' located in the main navigation menu.

The existing two volumes of the Mobile Hydraulics product catalog (part 1 and 2) have been completed with the addition of part 3 and 4. These new volumes include the current line of active products from the area of compact hydraulics.
Parts 3 and 4 are currently available only in English language and replace these previous catalogs: RDE 00158, RDE 00159, RE 00162-01, RE 00162-02, RE 00169, RE 00171, RE 00197, RE 00198 and RE 00199.

With the birth of Bosch Rexroth Oil Control and the integration of its product range in Rexroth’s, we aim at becoming an even stronger player in the world of systems for mobile machinery.
The variety of compact products now available – covering virtually every conceivable OEM’s necessity, from power generation to load holding – puts Bosch Rexroth in the position to act as a 360° partner in the design of safe, performing and cost efficient mobile machines.
